I dropped out of kink_bigbang because my idea bloomed and I am guess it will be about 50k now and there's no way to finish it in time... also I have strong opinions about posting my fic anywhere but my fic journal. I don't mind flash fic, drabbles, even one-shots, but novel-length stuff? Yeah, I just can't do that --- the internet is very open as it is and I really like to have control over my work.

I emailed her as well and basically offered to mod or co-mod. I've found that communities can become active again if the maintainers are really invested --- new layouts, graphics, challenges, etc. can all make a huge difference i my experience.
