Ugh. I've not even run into that (well the remix stuff I have but I don't usually participate in those and once a year I can deal with) but mod posting... yeah. I just can't get on board with that.

Agreed! I help mod supernaturalfic so I post there and a specialized comm if it's theme specific (I write a lot of underage aso I post at the underage comm a lot) but I know I tend to pick my fic up from newsletters so as long as the comm is on the newsletter watcher list there's really no reason to post 8 places.

Like I am in SPN for S/D, I am in N3 for D/Ch so I really want to support eppescest and will continue to post there even sans mod. I don't know about a revival but my two friends I've dragged over with me are only reading D/Ch as well and it's the only pairing I'll write (and read and rec...) so hopefully people can get excited again. I can see where OTP fans got gutted in seasons 3 and 4 though... luckily season 5 revived my spark and I was watching 4-5 eps a day (yay vacation!).

I've never been in a fandom with so many pairings! It's really interesting to see what pings with people. I am a complete and utter cest shipper though at least 90% of the time --- much to the dismay of every non-SPN fan on my flist. =D
