Why I'm reccing this fic: Because it’s sweet and romantic.
A brief excerpt: Don watches as surprise, shock and then exuberance crosses Charlie’s expressive face. The way his brother’s eyes lit up and the smile spread across his face makes all the contortions Don went through to get out to New York worth every minute.

Why I'm reccing this fic: Because it never fails to bring tears to my eyes.
A brief excerpt: After his mom’s death, Don starts checking for job opportunities in other FBI offices. There’s no lack of options, especially for someone with his field experience; but none of the places appeal to him, and after two months Don finally shelves the idea. He doesn’t understand the inertia, the same way he’s not sure exactly when Charlie becomes a part of his life.

Don's tongue licked at the salt that had settled on Charlie's skin. "I know what it's like to give in to something that you know you shouldn't be doing, but if you don't it'll just eat away at you bit by bit." Don's teeth sank gently into the skin at Charlie's shoulder, making him gasp. "I know all about that..."

Why I'm reccing this fic: This was a favorite fic from the Day Off challenge hosted at savecolby in July. There are others I'll rec but they are multipart and it will take me a bit to get them together. This fic in particular though seemed to really capture what Colby would actually do on his day off... and the imagery contained within definitely makes it worth the read. Yum yum.
