Why I'm reccing this fic: This fic is written in a universe where Colby and Callie have been high school sweethearts; a universe where I have so much fun. This particular piece is a conversation between Gary Walker (Callie's dad) and Colby. I'm most proud of it because this was one of the first times I could actually hear the characters voices as I wrote and I think that comes across in the fic. I also enjoyed writing the pre-series look back at Colby's high school and solider days. :)

This was also the first time I'd written Patrick Jane and only the second time I'd written Charlie Eppes. You can imagine how terrifying and exhilarating that experience was. As such, this is a fic I'm really glad to have written.

Why I'm reccing this fic: It's a great angst fic and unique from most others due to its unusual point of view. The entire fic is told from Natale's pov from beginning to end. Part of the reason I like this fic so much is because the thought of Benny going after Don crossed my mind during the episode when we learned Benny was staying in LA and I was really hoping he'd try something along these lines. Plus I love the idea of Don having to drive himself away from help so that Benny can exact his revenge.

Getting Don to actually talk and give them what they want to know.
