Title:  Q is for Quarry
Author: celadon
Pairing/Characters: Don E, Charlie E, Alan E.
Rating: T
Length: 101,633 words
Why I'm reccing this fic: This story really reveals to me the joy of a long-fic. It might have taken a year to complete, but there was always pleasure in reading a nice long update, even if it was once a month. Case-related which holds your interest from the beginning, and centered on Don. What more could you want?

Q is for Quarry

Title: Disequilibrium
Author: shaolingrrl
Pairing/Characters: Don E, Charlie E
Rating: K+
Length: 20, 425 words
Why I'm reccing this fic: Very nice Don angst written from Charlie's POV. Set season 3, and revolving around a case, we get to see some of Don's demons through Charlie eyes, especially good 'cause Season 3 Don was very dark.

Title: Q is for Quarry
Author: celadon
Pairing/Characters: Don, Charlie, Megan, David, Colby, Alan
Rating: T
Length: 87,997 words & counting (35 chapters & counting)
Note: this is a WIP, but is being updated regularly.
Summary: The team's latest case is far from normal as the killer they are chasing leaves photos of Don behind at the crime scenes.
Why I'm reccing this fic: I'm sure people are starting to see a pattern here, but again, another excellent Don angst fic. Here a suspect from Don's past returns to play a deadly game of cat and mouse with him. It is beautifully handled and puts Don in some tough positions before the man's true objective is revealed...

Hello people, I'm the reccer this week and I plan to bring you a fic or vid every day. Being a Don fan first and foremost, I can say now that all of my recs will revolve around him in some way.
First off, we start with a great angsty fic:

Title: Collateral Damage
Author: celadon
Pairing/Characters: Don, FBI team, Alan, Charlie
Rating: T
Length: 59,337 words (26 chapter + epilogue)
Summary: It's been a physically and emotionally draining case, but Don is finally poised to make an arrest. So why is it never that simple?
Why I'm reccing this fic: Because it's got some absolutely awesome Don angst in it! That and the situation poor Don finds himself in is not only quite unique, but also very well portrayed. Suffice it to say that Don has a car accident while chasing a suspect and ends up underneath the car and the suspect (arsonist) decides this provides the perfect barganing tool...
