I've been fortunate to share three fandoms with audrarose and even when I do not share a fandom with her, I still read all of her fan fiction because it's just that good. Unfortunately, she no longer writes Numb3rs fan fiction but she left more than a few gems with us – mostly Don/Charlie, but a bit of gen and other slash. Her writing has a distinct style that lends itself to angst but in a way that enhances its veristic qualities – it's never emo porn for the sake of emo.

\o/ Audra rocks!!! She's the gal who made certain I got involved in Numb3rs by sending me season one, which I watched three times that summer. *g*

She was on my list, but I forced myself to rec authors I've not already rec'd here before, so I'm thrilled that you've mentioned her. *g*

I love her N3 fic so much, possibly even more than fic in the other fandoms we share. She can get me to read things that are at the top of my squick list and make them work. I wish I knew how she did it - so she could bottle it and sell it. -g-

I've often said (even to her *g*) that I'd love to write like her when I grow up. *g*

(And yes, she does have that knack. She was responsible for my getting into incest, a line I thought I'd never cross, and then reading RPS with her J2 fic, and now even her Kris/Adam fic even though I'd never even watched American Idol!!)

Yes, she's one of three writers who got me reading RPS and now it's all down hill from there. -lol-
